Tara Hill Each day may bring her trails And night his darkening fear My heart is cold inside me no vision that seems clear In spite the good I can't see The High King who is still Upon the throne majestic By the sea at Tara Hill Upon the throne majestic By the sea at Tara Hill For there is one against us And oft he will assail The truth that we would cling to On our journey, our travail He shall not overcome us For we shall do the will Of the High King above all kings Who rules from Tara Hill Of the High King above all kings Who rules from Tara Hill The name above all others the prince of peace is he the shepherd king and servant And God eternally the word that ever liveth The Lamb whose blood would spill when shall cast our crowns before Him highest King of Tara Hill when we cast our crowns before Him highest King of Tara Hill Words & Music by Sammy Horner / Randy Kerkman

Wild Goose 04:45
Wild Goose I am a wild goose Climb aboard me And I will take you To better weather With the south wind, and my feathers I will carry you home again Weary clansman leave Culloden Let your life blood feed the red burn Caledonia and fields of Flodden I will carry you home again I am the wild goose, climb aboard me And I will take you, to better weather With the south wind, and my feathers I will carry you home again Beyond the grey skies, a silver lining And in my highlands, a son is shining You will be safe there My wings are waiting Waiting to carry you home again I am the wild goose Climb aboard me And I will take you To better weather With the south wind And my feathers I will carry you home again. Words & Music by Sammy Horner / Alex Legg

It is with one voice together Some day all the people shall sing Give thanks to the great friend of sinners Give thanks to the nail-pierced king No stained glass or pulpit to preach from The poor and the sick came to hear The words of the carpenter preacher The words they’d been longing to hear God wrapped up in flesh walked among us He dressed in the working man’s gown With gall in his wine and a cross for a throne His head wore a cruel bloody crown The prophet called him man of sorrows He came with no spear and no sword He knew with the Father and Spirit There’s strength in the three stranded Cord Words & Music by Sammy Horner

The lowly sparrow The storms of life can take their toll and we feel beaten down Beneath the flood of endless tears So deep that we could drown For it is sure that pain and hurt Will visit one and all So then remember Him who sees the lowly sparrow fall For each man faces sorrow And each woman pays the cost And as we navigate our way sometimes we all get lost amidst the joys and blessings there are times when we must call upon the name of Him who sees the lowly sparrow fall “Fear not my child” He cries to us “I’m with you in this pain be sure of this a time will come when you will smile again For now you see through darkened glass if you can see at all Pray for a glimpse of Him who sees the lowly sparrow fall. Words & Music by Sammy Horner

My Soul Will Glorify The Lord. Oh my cousin, who am I? That God should look on me and smile To bring you over many miles The mother of my Lord Oh Elizabeth, I too Am truly as amazed as you At what God intends to do Through me a humble servant CHORUS: My soul will glorify the Lord And my spirit will rejoice For He lifts the humble up And does not forget His promise How is one so humble blessed To be trusted with this test Oh what joy! What faithfulness! The child will surely save us Mary, Mary, it is so Cuz you believe what you were told We will see it all unfold And many generations will say And when you came, the Spirit filled me And the baby leapt for joy The truth was finally revealed to me That you fulfill the promise Words & Music by Beki Hemingway .

The kissing bridge There's a place two worlds become as one A place where Love is King Where the hearts of men and women dream A place where angels sing A place where we find 'kingdom come' A place to hold God's hand The Kissing Bridge where worlds collide Where on we all may stand There’s enough for all and naught for waste There’s peace to ease the mind Where blessings flow from Gods own heart And reach to all mankind A place Light shines inside the dark And worship heals the land The Kissing Bridge where worlds collide Where on we all may stand Words & Music by Sammy Horner

I Know you 03:44
I know you I know you in the clouds above that paint the blue sky white I know you in the burning sun and the cool that comes with night I know you in my tears that fall like the rain winter time I know you Lord in the melody, and the poetry and rhyme Oh I know you Lord, I know you tho I cannot comprehend all that you do But I know you yes I know you and the God of all creation knows me too I know you in the waves that crash upon the rocky shore I know you in the desert drought and when the rainstorms rage and pour I know you in my pounding heart when it drowns out my own voice I know you Lord in my days of doubts and i know you in my joys I know you in the still small voice and I know you in the scream I know you in the scriptures words and the spaces in between I know you in the clearest view and I know you in the fog I know you, Lord, you’re my everything, on this journey that `I walk Words & Music by Sammy Horner

I will tell the Greatest story of the one who knows my name of the one healed the blind man of the one who healed the lame surely he can give me vision surely he can help me speak joy and blessing to the lonely strength and comfort to the weak Surely he has know our sorrows he's acquainted with our grief for he knows life and it's trials and he helps our unbelief surely he can free the prisoner breaking fetters breaking bonds giving pardons, showing mercy and the love it's built upon I will sing of our redeemer of our saviour and our king of our lover and our champion while I've breath, I'll surely sing for in him there is no darkness and him there is no shame ever with us, ever for us always he shall be the same Words & Music by Sammy Horner

about

‘Worship Like A Celt’ is not a new idea, (it has been brewing in my soul for about a decade). It is not a suggestion that ‘everyone needs to be a ‘Celt’. It is not the product of a brilliant mind or a genius but rather a return to ancient ideas that we can use to help us in a modern setting. The ancient Celtic Christians saw worship in terms of ‘all of life’. Work, prayer, appreciation and care of creation, singing, study, art, community, family, contemplation, hospitality, food, drink, fellowship and social action were all aspects to our ‘worship’. These recordings are an attempt to include some of these themes in our thanksgiving. This particular selection of songs has been written as more of an ‘aid’ to contemplation, prayer in personal or corporate times. We hope that it helps you begin to see all of life as an act of worship.

Special thanks to…
All the amazing artists on this project, it wouldn’t be the same without your input. Randy Kerkman who brought new ideas and tech savvy to the mixing process. The Fleesons for the inspiration they always give and bring to any project. My wife who put up with my moods and frustrations and backed me the whole way. Every Kickstarter backer..thank you! For the surprises of visitors who eneded up being session players (Sean McMains, you are now an honorary ‘Electric’). For very understanding neighbours who have to listen to the music when I am playing, recording and mixing! My kids and grandkids that remind me what life is about. A very Special thanks goes out to the Gromes family from Germany who pushed and encouraged me to make this record at a time when I had lost heart. This was an act of ‘Worshipping like a Celt’ as they fed us, gave us a room and bed, helped us earn a living, let us be a part of their family for a time and gave to us sacrificially so that we could find the faith, courage and will to keep going. Thank you. This music would probably not have been recorded if not for your prayers, words and deeds.
